Scott - You need an indexed column to do a 'Find'. So - modify your table to index the street name and any other columns you want to include in your search OR use the Select dialog, followed by Query/Find Selection to zoom the map.

I'm using MapInfo 6.5 and have created a workspace which has a 'street' layer of all streets in a particular county. I want do a 'Find' command and locate a street (e.g. 10 College Ave) on the map. I thought you could use the menu item Query>Find command in MapInfo and pick the table column and do a search, but the menu item 'Find' is grayed out. What is the best way to do a 'Find' on a street and how do I go about doing it? Thanks in advance!
