Seems to do the job.

Subject: MI-L : Multi-band Landsat Image Problem
<< File: ATT06631.txt >> A client of mine has provided me
with a CD containing 8 Landsat images, in
BIL format.
I cannot open them in MapInfo as they are multi-band images,
and I get the
error messages "Cannot process multi-band images. Raster
engine unable to
recognize image file format".
Short of paying several thousand dollars for image analysis
software (which
is out of the question), is there a relatively inexpensive
option to maybe
convert the images to a TIF image (ideally with TFW
associated file)? Or
maybe someone has another solution for opening these
multi-band images in
MapInfo.
Thank you in advance.
Bill
