I know a utility that will "...export workspaces and all the tables
associated with it to one folder so that you could copy it onto a CD
etc...", which is called CopyPlus from SpatialPlus www.spatialPlus.com (look
under products).  It won't do the selection by colour thingy and I'm not
sure if it's Australian!  But it is FREE.
