Hi all, I am new to geographical tools and I am trying to develop an application using MapXtreme. I have a rather basic problem which is not related to MapXtreme and which I am sure you have already encountered. I am trying programmatically to check if two points are within a circle. I've got the coordinates (Longitude and Latitude in decimal format). I would like to calculate the distance between these two points in metres. I have tried to use the norm of the vector made of the two points but as coordinates does not refer to metres, there is no way for me to compare the distance between these two points with a circle radius in metres.
