OK folks, back to all of our favorite topic- printing. We recently made a switch in Airial Photography from the Air Photo PhotoMapper format to the ECW Format. ECW is a compressed pregeocoded format.. High quality. The problem is that when we send a print job to the wide format printer we are getting 1 gig print files... 1 GIG! Same the PDF's. Boy they are sharp when the hardware rip works them right. The problem is, I am a very impatient man. Any suggestions? Any one else use ECW formated photos (Ariel Express)? What do you do?
