Dear listserves and selected individuals: I apologize for cross-posting, but I think the responses may be sparse. I would like to hear from organizations who recognize and are pursuing the role of GIS in preparing for the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements, particulary as they relate to preserving patient confidentiality and identifying/de-identifying patients records. Will sum relevant responses.
