The code that Paul Crisp offered on July 3 for finding the closest point on a polyline to a given point was in VB. Paul assumed than one �could easily port it to MB� and, encouraged by his statement, I started to do it. It turned out that it was more complex than expected and I am pretty sure that some may have given up before completing the translation.
