Hello all

I am currently undertaking a large on-screen digitising project, and am
concerned from my own previous experience and from other postings of the
accuracy using this method.
I have found a problem in the past with accuracy, due apparently to the
process of the raster 'redrawing' on panning when the cursor goes
off-screen. I read recently (in a posting to MI-L by Ben Barton in April
this year) that this problem was fixed by a patch for MI6.5, and therefore
assume that it will be rectified in version 7, but have not been able to get
confirmation of this from any of MapInfo's representatives. I am using MI
6.0 and am due to upgrade to 7.0 within the next couple of weeks.
Does anyone know if it has been addressed? If not, does anyone know of a
fix? The only thing I can think of is to avoid digitising 'off-screen' and
later combining my polygons.

cheers
Caroline
