I have two tables, one of polygon boundaries, and one of points. I'm trying to update a column in the points table with a value from the surrounding polygons in the boundaries table.
I go to Table | Update Column, select the appropriate parameters, and hit OK. I get an error box stating "Datatype mismatch in expression." If I tell it to add a new column, it adds "Cannot add temporary column <columnname>". Any ideas? This works with every other set of boundaries/points I've ever tried it on, just not this one for some stupid reason.
