Erin, Within the "Create Thematic Map - Step 3 of 3" dialog box there is a button entitled 'Ranges'. Press it and then choose the drop down menu item '# of Ranges', you will be able to then increase your ranges to 9. Press 'Recalc' to recompute the assignment.
