The custom symbols I would like to use are saved in the CUSTSYMB directory, but when I go into MapInfo, Symbol Style, Custom Symbol dialogue box and hit reload, they do not appear. Similarly if I delete a symbol from the directory, it will delete it in the dialogue box for Custom Symbols, but if I try to paste it back in, it will not show up. Does this have anything to do with the initial installation, or is there a different way of adding a custom symbol?
