Hello All, I'm interested in importing proprietary Mapinfo line data into a Consumer(cheap) GPS.
1. I'm well aware of the fact that waypoints can be loaded into almost any GPS on the market, but I'm interested in viewing proprietary line files. 2. I'm also aware that there are a variety of vendors like mapsource out there who clip proprietary datasets for loading into higher end consumer GPS units. Questions? 1. Has anyone written a routine to export Mapinfo data to a mapsource(or like software) format with the intentions of loading it into a GPS? 2. Does anyone have any specific experience with the different GPS units on which load data better, easier, diplay it better, etc? Again, a big thanks to anyone who can be of help!
