Hello Richard, The function mapperinfo() has parameters which allow you to query the extents of a mapper window. You can then build a rectangle using "create rect...". It would not be too difficult to build a MapBasic application which adds a couple of menu options to Pro - one to "drop" a fresh rectangle into the current editable layer, and another to zoom to a selected rectangle.
