If I understand you question correctly, you can't actually get a Mapinfo
Object back into VB because VB does not support the data types.
However, you can use MI.Eval("ObjectInfo()") (I think that is the
function, I do not have the manual at hand) to extract data about the objects.
I hope that is adequate for your purposes.
