When you are constructing the MapInfo tables, save them as type Access and choose the 
database that you are building.

Alternatively, construct them in Access, and open the newly constructed Access table 
from mapInfo.  If you want to map the table, you just need to alter the 
structure and make it mappable.

Also you need to have installed the data access feature in MapInfo.
