I am experiencing problems but with a network printer (Xerox XES Synergix 8830-GL with a Firmware revision of 6.0). We used to operate quite successfully on Windows 98/MapInfo 6.5. Our small team of 3 operators have progressively moved to Win2000/MapInfo 7.0. Our early problems were related to partial prints of Workspaces, with a mix of map/graphics elements missing. We then moved onto complete failure to print, and MapInfo could not regenerate the layout when we tried to select that particular printer. During the process we used several printer drivers all to no avail. We are not making much progress, and are limited in out printing output; do you have a version of this printer and if so which driver do you use?. Is it a coincidence that our troubles seem to stem from upgrades of Win2000 & MapInfo? We are part of a relatively new and inexperienced group within the Planning and Transportation Section of Local Governemt and are keen to learn from experienced users out there.
