Dear All I have a layer that has symbols that are linked to an ODBC connection, from this layer I have created a thematic map based on the status of a filed in my database. Each symbol represents the easting and northing of one side of a wall. Due to the random profiles of the walls I used symbols at one point instead of trying to link line along the profile of the wall. On another layer I have line showing the profile off the wall. I have copied these lines onto ODBC layer, and I am currently in the process of combining the lines (by selecting both objects and using the objects combine menu option) when the objects combine the line takes the colour and the data of the ODBC thematic map information. The problem that I am having is that I seem to be losing the option to refresh the ODBC connection. Does this always happen when information is copied onto the ODBC layer. Is there still a link to my database to exchange information both ways.
