sorry but this is going to be a vague query... you know those thumbtack things that you'd actually poke into a real map on a wall to mark out murder scenes and stuff, well when i'm using the symbols in mapinfo that look like them i'd like to have the pin part signify the centroid, rather than the whole symbol just cover it up. so essentially, is there some way to change the 'point' of a symbol? kinda like with a mouse cursor, how the point can actually be set at a different location of the cursor depending on what type is being displayed. gramercy ash.
