I have two questions I'm attempting to solve.
1. I've had multiple request to provide
graticule lines on the border of a layout (much like CAD maps can have). To
date I haven't found any way to, reasonably, do this. Does anybody know of
any third party software and/or a tool that automates this process. I've
found a few tools that do it on the map but nothing that will work for the
Layout.
2. Title blocks are my second pet peeve.
ESRI and CAD have a great system to producing title blocks/legends. While
the legend program within MapInfo is acceptable, I'm wondering if there are
any third party software or tools that will structure the title block like
in CAD?
I've heard that some map makers use another piece of software to
"pretty" a map up. Any suggestions on what to use? All our maps are
plotted for our clients...so just being nice on screen doesn't work :(
