Well, the new MapInfo 7.0 has the ability to set a work session projection, that MapInfo will in stead of the default Longitude/Latitude.
Maybe this has some sort of influence on the "Set coordsys ..." in your application. This shouldn't be the case because the application is working in another scope than MapInfo, but you'll never now... Do you set the coordsys right before your read/write the coordinates using MapperInfo ? I have made a small test application and appearently the coordsys in my application is Long/lat if I haven't sat the coordsys using "Set CoordSys...". So the application isn't using the work session projection which in my case is "Danish System 34 Jylland" and not Long/lat. It has something to do with mapperinfo functions. I have a set coordsys in my application but the values I get from mapperinfo are not right.
