Hello everyone again..... Thanks to all of you who have offered assistance with placing the text in a text object in a column. However, I actually need to edit the actual text, not just a copy of the text in a seperate column. I am finding the text in a column to be useful, but it still leaves me with my dilemma. I need to actually export the files to another GIS program and if the text has a carriage return in it, it transfers to the other GIS program just as I have made it in MI, but if the Carriage return is not there, it recreates the text i n a f o r m a t, s i m i l a r t o t h i s. I currently am having to double click each text object and manually add the carriage return. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have saved the labels as text in their own layer and if I browse the label table, all that is listed is ID. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
