Hello All, I have a VB program running a MapInfo instance, with integrated mapping. I have another application, which is a �normal� MapInfo application. When the MapInfo instance is started in the VB program and I start the MapInfo program, the MapInfo program uses the MapInfo instance in the VB program (I think) and messes up the maps in the VB program. What I like to know if there is a method in MapBasic to test if there�s already a MapInfo instance running, via integrated mapping. I know a method that let�s me know if a MBX is already started, but that method isn�t aware of the MapInfo instance in the VB program. Another solution would be, when there is a way that the MapInfo program runs in its own instance.
