Hi All! We have swedish MI Pro v7 licenses, but for a certain reason I needed to check an application against the english international version. So I decided to install the 30day trial version of MI 7. However, I am unable to start it, probably because I had the beta version installed before.
Does anybody know where MapInfo stores its 'already installed' info? I uninstalled the beta and tried to weed all MI 7 info from the registry but it did not help. I'm looking forward to when MI becomes multilingual in the true sense, so that I can choose language when installing, or even better at runtime. I would prefer working in the english version because the swedish version sucks languagewise, but my work group demands a swedish version (such as it is).
