Don't know about North America, but Lars Nielsen, DK, made this for Denmark :) Add the
line to your MAPINFOW.PRJ
"Denmark from space", 20, 104, 7, 11.6, 56.15, 1.0, 10000000, 10000000
The mapinfo manual will tell you how to change it to N. America.
This seems to work:
"NA from space", 20, 104, 7, -95, 50, 1.0, 10000000, 10000000
By the way a nice way to tell you kids, why they have to pass Greenland, when flying
from Copenhagen to LA. Or why Thule Airbase in Greenland is a nice place to have a big
radar.
