You should verify if your dwg file is linked with another file. Use the Xref manager to see if it is the case. If yes, import each dwg file separatly. I'm using the complete version of AutoCAD 2002, I don't know where you can access the Xref manager in AutoCAD lite.. Maybe you should look in the insert menu if you have one.
Hope this help. I also saved this read only .dwg file within a new name and the same extension within autocad lite. When I opened this file within autocad lite approximaely 70% of the information was missing(beleive this has something to do with proxy objects) is there anyway that I can get this information out of autocad lite and imported into mapinfo while maintaing all the data. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks Scott --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 3849 --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 3858
