We intend to create a cartogram based on some of the New Zealand 2001 Census
data that is in MI format.
It would save me a lot of tedious manual click and drag scaling using the
trusty eyeometer if somebody has a .mbx that will scale a selected region by
allowing you to key-in an area value, while keeping the shape in proportion.
I have downloaded the Wall-387.zip file but have found it to be of little
benefit for this task... it will scale by a x and y scale factor, but won't
enlarge a polygon to a predefined area (metric sqm, ha, sqkm).
We have MIPro up to v6.5 running on NT & 2000.

not subscribed to the list at present... something to do with going on
holiday and having my inbox overflowing.
Thanks
Kia kite ano
