All,

I am in need of some detailed information about using MapInfo with an Oracle database,
in particular I need information on what the role of the mapinfo_mapcatalog table is -
I already have a fundamental idea, but need more information on using it to control
the rendering of my data etc.

Does anyone know of any good books, web sites, tutorials that can help with this? As
far as I can see there is very little info from MapInfo themselves, or am I not
looking hard enough?

All suggestions greatly appreciated!
