Hi.

I have an Access database of site records and also a
Mapinfo table of corresponding site polygons, matched up on
an ID field. In the Access db on a "sites" form I would like
to display a map of each site. So far I've created a MapX
geoset for the site polygon data and displayed this on a
form using the MapX ActiveX control in Access. It works OK
but just displays the geoset's default zoom and centre.
What I need to know is how to get the map to zoom and
centre on the relevant site polygon as I browse through
each record. I assume this will need some VBA code in the
Access form to find the site polygon that matches the Access
record currently displayed on the form and then zoom and
centre the ActiveX MapX control window on that polygon.

But what code and where?

As you've probably guessed I have very limited experience
of VBA and no experience at all of MapX programming. So any
help will be much appreciated.

I'm using Mapinfo 6.5, MapX 5.0, Access 97, Win 98

Andy
