Dear listers, please can you help... I have a polygon layer in MapInfo (v7) which defines regions. Another department has an MS Access database which has an information record for each of these regions. I am trying to open this database, open the Form, and then display the appropriate record within the form for the polygon clicked on. The emphasis is on displaying the form rather than bringing the data into MI, as the form has a particular design that needs to be used.
I have looked at using the hotlink option, but can only get as far as opening the database by adding in "filepath\filename.mdb" in the polygon dataset hotlink field. Can I use this method and add information to specify a form and a record number, if so what do I need to put in? If not does anyone have any other suggestions of how to go about it? I have MI 7, MapBasic 7, but no other programming software.
