I have a table with locations identified by UK grid reference and another table with Irish co-ordinates.
I want to display both in the same workspace so I have translated the UK grid references to LatLong, same as the Irish locations, and saved a copy of the UK coast map in the same format but when both the UK locations and UK coast map are opened the coast is displayed OK but only one location is displayed in the middle of the North Sea! There is a similar problem with the Irish data. Any ideas? I'm using Lat Long WGS84 but don't know why - how do I know which of the many lat long types to use? Thanks Mike Collard
