Dear List, I have many many seamless tables (historical maps of different editions, one seamless layer for each edition for every year since 1954). Each seamless table could be made up of 6 - 150 component tables. It took AGES to set these layers up. They were created with FULL PATH turned on (because the component tables are in many different directories).
Question: I want to find away of changing the path info directly, without having to go through the trauma of setting up each layer individually. Have tried editing the dat file directly in a text editor. I got excited about this because I could just replace all the lines that said \\old-server\directory\ with \\new-server\newdirectory, but (alas) MapInfo is cleverer than that and I managed to stop the layer working at all. Any helpful advice would win my undying admiration for it's author. Many thanks.
