Hey all, I have a DWG file that I have imported to MI using both the Universal translator and FME from safe.com. FME works much better, but I am having difficulty getting either to translate into some kind of Earth coordinate system. I assume this is because there is no "geographic" data in the DWG file. Is this correct? Is there anyway other than trying to get the client to set a coordiate system in AutoCad to get these things into an earth based coordsys? I may end up making a raster and then re-digitizing the whole damn thing, but I would like to avoid that if possible.
