Seems like a projection problem day! Here's mine - I'm trying for the first time to build a custom projection using a datum that's not in MapInfo. I have all the info I need and this is the line in my PRJ file:
"ANSC1880", 9999, 6, 152.59, 71.74, -294.09, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 But when I go to choose it in Mapinfo 5.0 Create Points dialogue, it says 'Invalid Projection Type: 6999' - note the six!!! That's one of the oddest things I've ever seen. I've built lots of other projections before but this is the first time I'm trying MapInfo's '9999' option. I originally tried the '999' setup (which doesn't require the five last parameters) but that didn't work either. And my parameter line is snuggles safely among a couple of working ones, so I don't think it's picking up info from another line. Any ideas out there?!? =) Thanks, Ron --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 4700
