I've had this problem when drawing many lines and using the Snap tool. It seems to be a video memory issue with the computer more than a problem within MapInfo. Try turning off the snap tool and you may notice a huge difference.

I'm running Windows 2000 Professional and MapInfo Pro 7.0 with the update. About 50% of the time while I have a drawing tool selected and am working in the map window, MI uses the text tool's cursor instead of the crosshairs. Then, when I go to click a record in a browser window, I get the crosshairs. It seems they are reversed, though not all of the time. Any ideas?
