I have updated my Vertical Mapper to 3.0, but i have not updated the Vertical
Mapper SDK to 3.0, only i have updated the studio or software that let you work with
grids within MapInfo studio. My first question: Is that enough to fix my problems with
the function: 'vmSetInflectionsStdCall'?
I have been developing a Visual Basic project and in my project i called functions
of Vertical Mapper SDK like the famous function: 'vmSetInflectionsStdCall' and so, i
needed to have the libraries of Vertical Mapper SDK within a 'X' folder. These
libraries were: KrigDll.dll, NWmfal32.dll, Serv.dll, Vario.dll, VMapi.dll,
vmClrPick.dll, vmContour.dll,vmgen.dll, vmGridMan.dll, vmimp.dll, vmMFI.dll,
vmNatNeigh.dll, vmTIN.dll. I do not know from where i got them, but i know that i had
to copy from some folder and later paste them in my 'X' folder. Now, due to the new
installation of Vertical Mapper 3.0 i suppose i must update these libraries from my
'X' folder with the new installed libraries when i updated my Vertical Mapper to 3.0.
But, i do not know where i can find these new libraries in order to paste them in my
'X' folder and use them from my Visual Basic project. This is my second question:
Where can i find these new libraries due to the installation of Vertical Mapper 3.0
from? perhaps, they are in the folders: c:\Archivos de
programa\MapInfo\Professcional\vm\gnu and c:\Archivos de
programa\MapInfo\Professcional\vm.
And another thing about these libraries: i had the libraries: KrigDll.dll,
NWmfal32.dll, Serv.dll, Vario.dll, VMapi.dll, vmClrPick.dll, vmContour.dll,vmgen.dll,
vmGridMan.dll, vmimp.dll, vmMFI.dll, vmNatNeigh.dll, vmTIN.dll in my 'X' folder, but,
do the new libraries keep the same name? and, are there new added libraries because of
the number of libraries have increased?
I have been developing a Visual Basic project and in my project i had the file
vmDev.bas (it is a file with the definitions of the functions that are in the
libraries and this file let compile my Visual Basic project). From i updated the new
version of Vertical Mapper (to 3.0), neither i have removed this file and nor i have
included a new one in my project. This is my third question: Is this ok? will my
project work correctly with the new libraries and the same vmDev.bas?
