I am working on a geocodable street file. I have Bill Thoen's white paper "How to make a Street Map for Address Geocoding", 1993, on how to do it (see Direction's Magazine). I have split the table into 3 tables using the Unique keyword per the paper.
This has now piqued my curiosity and I would like to know more about it. Any other ways to apply this technique? Other white papers on it? I am wondering about how some of our large "flat" files would perform when split like this. Not knowing the "guts" of the geocode, I am not certain how to apply this trick when doing SQLs. Also, how to maintain the related files for new data, etc. William "Woody" Woodruff Zoning Administrator Charter Township of Union, Isabella County, Michigan 2010 S Lincoln Rd, Mt.
