I am working on a geocodable street file. I have Bill Thoen's white paper
"How to make a Street Map for Address Geocoding", 1993, on how to do it (see
Direction's Magazine). I have split the table into 3 tables using the
Unique keyword per the paper.

This has now piqued my curiosity and I would like to know more about it.
Any other ways to apply this technique? Other white papers on it? I am
wondering about how some of our large "flat" files would perform when split
like this. Not knowing the "guts" of the geocode, I am not certain how to
apply this trick when doing SQLs. Also, how to maintain the related files
for new data, etc.
