I have had sucess with Transparencies. I'm using MI 6.5 on a WIN 2000
system, outputting to an HP DesignJet 800PS.
The key to getting it to work for me was to select the advanced tab on the
print dialog and on the Advanced Printing Options Form select the radio
button that says "Print Using Enhanced Metafile" and de-select the checkbox
that says "internal handling for transparent raster".

Hopefully this will work for you like it does for me.

Subject: MI-L Transparency

Has anyone had success in printing TIFF files in MapInfo Pro v7 using
transparency? I have a client that is running on Windows 2000, and has
a HP Deskjet laser printer and HP 2500C, 650C plotters. He claims that
the transparency doesn't work for him. thanks in advance for your
replies.

Karl
