Hi Jamie,

One of two explanations I can think of :
1. Your tab file is referring to some non-MapInfo DB based table, that's encrypted in 
some way
2. You're running Win2000 (or XP?) with encrypted file system, and the file(s) in 
question have been encrypted by a different PC
user

I'm not aware of MIPro having encryption as a natively implemented feature - been 
asking for it a long time though.
