The only way I know how to do an outer join is by using the table > update column. The table to update being the left side of the join, and the right side the table to get the data from. Make suer you make the column to update "add a temporary column".
All records from the left side will be included in the result, but you will not get mulitple records where there is a one to many relationship. You can also only get one column at a time. Works for some instances.
