I don't have any experience with MapX on XP vs. Win2000 but from troubleshooting other issues I would check 1. Are the XP machines using same printer / printer settings (for ex. HP PCL vs. PS cause us similar problems in Excel) as the Win2000. 2. If so may need to update printer drivers to "XP" versions on XP machines. In Windows being WYSIWYG the default printer - print driver can effect application speed especially heavy duty graphics/mapping.

Im currently running an application on 5 networked computers 2 of which are using Win XP whilst the other 3 are running Win 2000. On the XP machines various operations, such as refreshing the display and saving take upwards of 5 times longer than the Win 2000 machines to complete. Any ideas? Thanks Paul _________________________________________________________________ Use MSN Messenger to send music and pics to your friends http://messenger.msn.co.uk --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 5904 --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 5915
