I am using MS Access2000 as my data tables for Mapinfo V7. I have made each relevant table mappable and ensured each table has an index field. The data in the table is for water/sewer reticulation

I was expecting that by doing this Mapinfo would store the spatial object within the Access table and that there would not be a need to distribute any Mapinfo tab files. Users once they opened the Access table would have a spatial representation of the data from the table ie the pipelines and point features.

Have I got it correct in that Access holds the spatial object and that I only need to distribute the database to system users?

Thank you for any advice

James Barnes.
