You could Use Crystal Reports, to list all records in a grouping is a report
function. Run a query on your table that groups by Zip, then go to Tools,
Crystal Reports New Report, based on the Query you just ran. Then go to
Report Menu, submenu Grouping, Use Zip to Group on. This will generate a
Report where the Zips are all listed with all the utility Companies in a
list under each ZIP. Like This
48858
Joe's Electric
Bob's Gas and Belch
48801
Sally's Roadside Power and Light
To concatenate would be bad Data Base JuJu, since one typically concatenates
from several FIELDS not several RECORDS.

Subject: MI-L Concatenate Question
I have another question for the list.
I have a table that has two columns (col1=zip code and col2=Utility
company). One zip code=One utility company. And I have received help to
find those zip codes that have more than one utility company (duplicate zip
codes).
Now I would like to concatenate those so that if there are five rows
with the same zip, and different utility companies, I can make one row, with
one zip, and update one field to hold all five utility companies names.
But so far, MapInfo help on concatenation has been lacking.
TIA for all who reply.
cheers
