I asked for help about setting up an Address Dictionary. I am trying to set up a User Dictionary using a point file (one of the options listed in the manual).
I seem to have the right file format, but when I try to load the file using "Create an Address Dictionary" option in MapMarker, it keeps telling me that the file needs to be in either NAD27 or NAD83. I open the file up in MI Pro, and the projection is listed as "Longitude/Latitude - Longitude/Latitude". I change the projection to "Longitude/Latitude - NAD83", click "OK", and close the table. When I reopen the table in MI Pro, it is back to the original projection, not the NAD83 I attempted. Can someone help here? THanks! Ross E.
