Hello listers, this is a repost of a message I sent on April 29th, 2003 - I just discovered that there was a problem with my e-mail system for a couple of days around this time and I did not get any messages from MapInfo-L for awhile. Luckily for me was on the back burner for awhile, but it's front and center again - if anyone remembers answering my question before, I hope you will root through your Sent mail for me! *start of old message* Hello list, I have another programming problem whose solution escapes me, and I know editing lines has been on the list recently (although I didn't see anything that fits this bill exactly). I have a table of polylines (no combined or multi-segment polylines to worry about for programming purposes). I need to create a node every 50 metres from the start of the polyline, and remove any nodes that already exist - the current inflection points are not important, so long as the nodes that are created every 50 metres still fall along the path of the original line. I also have nodes in the original line that are closer than 50 metres apart too, so that's giving me some trouble....any suggestions?
