Hello Carol,
You can accomplish this with the Universal Translator (UT) mbx. You would
select the source file as MI table and the destination file as ESRI shape.
If my assumption is correct, I believe this is one of the prepackaged mbx
that comes with MI. If not, let me know and I can e-mail you the mbx
directly.
You would need to go to the TOOLS menu. If this UT mbx is already loaded,
you should see this as one of your selection from your pull down menu.
Then another window will come up. Here is were you would specify the
source type and the destination type.

I have some regions files i need to send to someone to evaluate who needs
them in shape file format. Is there a way to save .tab files as shape
files? Just saving as .dbf did not seem to work for sending graphic
information. (I'm using MI PRo v 7.0.)
