In which circumstances does the commandinfo(CMD_INFO_ROWID) will return -1 as the rowid of the selected object while the selchangedhandler is active?
In my MB 6.5 application, the handler of a button makes a specific layer selectable (all other layers not selectable), closes any selection and sets the selchangedhandler on. The selchangedhandler sub gets the rowid and calls a sub that sets selchangedhandler off, deletes the objects from another layer that are within the selected object, then deletes that object. Every other time I run that sequence (activate button, select object) the returned rowid is -1. Thanks for anything that can help me to understand that.
