Paula,
It depends on what your field types are and column widths. If you change
them to a decimal and set the dps to 6 you should be sweet. On export, you
will often get the fields truncated to the format of the labels, if there
are any. Seems a bit random at times.

Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone knows how to export excel files with the full 6
decimal places intact. I have imported one into mapinfo...and the labels
only appear as 3(X) or 4(Y) decimal places, but the info tool still has the
full 6. So thinking that when i exported the file again, i'd get the full
6...but i don't i get 3 and 4 for X and Y respectively...like on the
labels.

How can i keep the full 6dc??

Thanks,

Paula
