I have two point files and I want to update the Alt_place name for table A with the Alt_Place name found in table B. I have tried to update that column in the mapbasic window with the following command;
Add Column "International_Cities" (AltName)From PLCA_ENG set to AltName where COL5=3DCOL1 and COL2=3DCOL7 I get the error that the "and" statement is unrecognizable.
