Does anybody have any experience of or advice on getting data out of GRASS and into MapInfo without using the Universal Translator. (I am using an ancient version of MapInfo which doesn't have that luxury.) GRASS currently doesn't have a functional export option for MIF, although importing MIF files is supported.
I'm sure I could use Safe Software's FME Suite demo if this were just a one-off, but I will probably want to do this sort of operation on a regular basis. (Anyway, I can't really justify the expense of FME, even if the cash were available to buy it.)
Any suggestions gratefully received.
