Dear MapInfo Users:

I get the following error when I try to connect to an Oracle spatial
table:

'Unsupported data type for column(s): GEOM Unable to fetch records into
table'

The method I use is as follows:

        -Open DBMS connection
        -Connection Type: Oracle Spatial
-Enter username, password and server name
-Select required spatial table from my schema
        -Specify new TAB file location
        -Click OK

Immediately upon clicking OK the message appears. GEOM is the
spatial column in my Oracle spatial table.

Does anyone have any helpful suggestions as to why attempting to
connect to Oracle spatial is failing?
        Any assistance is much appreciated.

        Thanks for your time.
